Some powder pigment in water... more pigment more color... more water more transparency... makes...
washed ink on white paper.
The nature of the pigment brings the warmth... the clarity, the light.
And the color is called Bister.

Drawings are made with a pen, whatever pen. The volumes are made with a brush, whatever brush.
Some yellow watercolor is added, Indian yellow... to step out of the main color, to see it from a different angle, to accentuate the yellow side of the color Bister...
This makes an Ink-Watercolor.

This is what I did and which calls for adventure... more and more... still.

"Ik zie weerbarstigheid, kracht, onaangeroerdheid, dreiging en in dat alles wordt er geen moment een concessie aan de schoonheid van de compositie gedaan. Geweldig! Ik voel dat ondanks de strijd die zich afspeelt, ook de ruimte waarin het zich afspeelt gezien wordt. Dank je wel ik zal het koesteren."
